Shown here are the results for gene ELAVL2 from a genomewide linkage analysis of major depression carried out with 656 families and including 1,494 informative all possible affected relative pairs genotyped at 418 microsatellite markers (Holmans et al. 2007; American Journal of Psychiatry)
